POLICY FOR RENTAL OF COMMUNITY ROOM
Workshop room rental is allowed as a fundraiser to help support the operations and special projects of The Sherman Museum. The Museum makes its workshop room available for rental at the discretion of the Museum Director.
Please follow the procedures listed below when renting the workshop room. Thank you for your support.
Make rental reservation with museum staff, subject to approval of the Museum Director.
Reservation must be made at least a week in advance.
Fees: A fee of $50 will be charged for the use of the room. This fee must be paid in advance. Capacity: A maximum of 50 people may occupy the room.
Refreshments: Coffee, soft drinks and water may be brought in and served along with cookies or easily handled sweets. All other food items must be approved.
Clean up: Renter is responsible for clean up. All trash that accumulates during the rental period must be removed from the building and disposed of off site.
- Entry and exit from the Walnut Street doors or from the elevator.
- No one will be permitted to access any other room in the downstairs area or the upstairs portion of the museum unless accompanied by museum staff.
- Chairs and folding tables are available.
- The rest rooms will be available.
